At least, this makes it easier to avoid downloading too many demos, but it does suck for the little guy who made a legit game and is drowning with all the slop. (This being said, now that the week is almost done, gotta love to see all the ai games go down the list once the personalized mode kicked in!)
AGX GP 💕
Anti-gravity racing game
I tend to play demos once and then uninstall them, but I kept this one for a few days. I love that type of racing game and this one is perfect once you get used to the controls, as there are some more actions you can do aside of boosting, like jump and strafe-with-slowmo. It can get pretty technical!
And it's really pretty too! My only tiny pet peeve is that the menus are kind of slow.
Ambroise Niflette & the Gleaned Bell 💕
Play as a little detective looking for a town's bell!
The art is absolutely delightful, the characters are great and the gameplay might be a bit basic (you get a notebook where you can use statements, items or photos to guide a conversation) but it's well done so that's good in my book. This is such a little gem, can't wait to play the game once it's out!
Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction
Solo deduction game, based on roles
Pretty fun! The interface is well made and the game rules are engaging, as you have at least two sets of rules for each role (depending on their alignment) and sometimes an ability too! I liked it.
Exark
Base builder/autobattler, manage buildings and crew on your ship until you get to your destination
The base building is pretty classic, you have buildings that take some resources to make others, and they sometimes have an area of effect for other buildings. There are also crewmates that can help creating resources and some other stuff as well, and relics. Haven't played a lot but I'm sure there are some crazy synergies to find out!
The pixel art is chef's kiss and the characters are fun!
Hole Is Mine
Incremental game about a hole
The art is cute, the mechanics are pretty cool and I got surprised when I saw that my first mini'oh had my best friend's steam nickname. I'll definitely get it once it comes out!
Milki Delivery 💕
Travel the countryside and help people while delivering milk!
This is from the devs who also made Minami Lane and Kabuto Park, and it's of course absolutely adorable. The art is gorgeous and the gameplay/stamina management is pretty nice. A chill game exactly how I like them!
Mirth Island
Adventure with rhythm minigames! Help Dodo rebuild his favorite old theater
Pretty casual game, the art is really cute and the characters are nice! Can't say much more, but I know I'll get it eventually.
OFFBEAT
Music tycoon with some peculiar instruments.
Make music for your clients! You can record actual music in this, what you make can be saved as files. Really cool!
Star Dice
Balatro with dice!
Interesting game! Some english translations are a bit wonky/vague, but the gameplay is pretty fun. One of the things you can do to upgrade your build is through relics that you can then fuse together and if it works, you get a new power + keeps the old relics' too (which is great because you only have 5 slots for them). I really liked that mechanic.
Strange Finds
Archaeology game, dig up findings and use them to answer question about an ancient civilization.
The demo was short but it was pretty cool! A bit basic maybe so far and I hope there will be a few more mechanics added to the game. This being said, the story might be interesting enough for me!
Typomagical
Typing roguelike, type your spells to cast them
Pretty cool game! The only thing I didn't like was how you switch from typing to moving but I didn't check if I could change that. But the way you can fuse words to make a spell is a really good idea.
